[mc] SYMLINK_NOFOLLOW

Well, the thing that acutally IS a symlink, is my users ~/.cache. It points to that real folder /tmp/cache (which is created at login).

So mc creates ~/.cache/mc at startup, is that correct ? 

So what we and up with is /tmp/cache/mc/.cache, and by the exported MC_PROFILE_ROOT path,  /tmp/cache/mc/ with configuration files. 

But why would mc then say NOFOLLOW for fstat'ing the path /tmp/cache/mc/mc.keymap ?
