[mc] mc slow start after upgrade from 4.8.22 to 4.8.29

So what happens if you start mc without SHELL definition, does it use a 
different shell, because zsh is not your default shell?

I have no idea - I've only pointed you in the direction where to look.

zsh, especially overloaded with plugins, is not generally known to be 
lightning fast, but if you say that it starts rather fast without mc, then 
it could be that it has something to do with how we hook into zsh to 
provide subshell integration.
