[mc] spell check

Hi,

I don't want to hijack this thread, but my request is related to the
OP's request. On my machine aspell is completely installed [1], by Arch
Linux packages the software from upstream isn't usually not split into
several packages.

I don't see  "Utilities" by "F9 → Utilities → Check spelling / Check
word / Select language".

There's nothing related to "spell" in my $HOME/.config/mc/ini , IIUC
this means that it defaults to "en".

$ man mcedit | grep _language -A1 
       spell_language
              Spelling language (en, en-variant_0, ru, etc) installed with aspell package (a full list can be obtained using 'aspell' utility).  Use spell_language = NONE to disable  as‐
              pell support. Default value is 'en'. Option must be located in the [Misc] section.

How can I turn spell checking on and off?
