Is there something like feedkeys()?

Hi,
on Vim there's feedkeys() function that simulates series of keypresses like
if they've been typed by a user, so e.g.: feedkeys(":wq\<CR>") exits the
editor.

Is there maybe something similar in MC's codebase?
