mc problem in recent versions of fedora/rhel

Hi,
I have seen this behaviour, if local LANG variable was xxx.UTF-8 and 
remote was xxx.ISO8859-2.
After you connect to remote machine, try to export your LANG variable to 
the same value as on your local machine, before you start mc.
