mc Digest, Vol 125, Issue 1

bad news dude ?!
`top` shows what's taking most CPU cycles.
`pstree -p` shows the ancestors of various processes.
It may be easier to debug, if you incrementally kill-off
 other PIDs, to help isolate the problem
Probably if you start the CPU-hogging process, NOT from mc,
it still 'hangs'. Then you don't need to involve mc?
