mc disintegrates after playing video (sometimes)

Hello,

I am experiencing strange problem. Approximately 1 out of 10 cases, when
I open media file from mc, after returning back to mc, I find the window
"disintegrated", as shown on this screenshot:

In this situation mc is unresponsive, I cannot even exit with F10. I
have to kill it from other terminal. This happens with video files, as
well as graphics.

I am using mc 4.8.3-10 on Debian Wheezy and I am running mc inside
terminator (terminal emulator)

can somebody please help ?
