replace mcedit with emacsclient without chaning $EDITOR

Tbanks, but apparently I missed something. I have a 
/usr/share/mc/bin/mc-wrapper.sh. In it I append the line:

  EDITOR=/usr/bin/emacsclient

The mc editor, however, remains nano. The line is ignored.
