Problem with "menu" file

Hello *,

some times ago I had placed prepared "menu" files to get other menus  in
certain directories, but now it does not more work anymore.

It does not mather, how I name it, like "cedit.menu", "mc.menu", ".menu"
or "menu".

How can this solved?
