1. Some variants of mc 4.6.1 let you scroll around a file in the 
internal viewer with the UpArrow/DownArrow keys after an F7 search 
without losing the last object found. You may need a recent patch to get 
this aid, though. Plain 4.6.1 drops the ball while 2007-03-09-18 holds it.

2. If you feel the need to look at mc's source code, go teach yourself 
the neko-ken instead. You're more likely to survive that experience intact.
