Compiling under OS X 10.4 got an error

Hi Leonard,

I checked the slang.h file for the 4.6.1 distribution, and that line  
is in there.
It didn't seem to make a difference..

Should i specify, using the -host= parameter, that this is a powerpc,  
etc. (I believe i did this way back when i installed 4.6.0.)
I'll give it a try anyway, but it seemed like the configure figured  
out what my machine was.
