No GMC In Mandrake 9.2!!

Hello,

First post to the list...

I've been using Red Hat Linux since 5.2 in 1999 and am now migrating to 
Mandrake 9.2.

In order to ensure the smoothest transition possible I am testing 
Mandrake on a spare system before doing a real install on my main machine.

Being a daily user of GMC and a general hater of Nautilus, I am appalled 
to discover that Gnome support has been removed from GMC!

I have searched the web but have so far been unable to find an 
explanation as to why this is the case ... and why I am now being forced 
to switch to something less.

For ease of use and simplicity, GMC/Gnome is unrivaled!
