MC or RH8 Problem ?

Hi MC

I have instaled the new RH8 on my machine (Sony VAIO PIII600 128MB
Model: PCG-F707)

My probelm is that if i go in a directory deeper deeper ex. 7 subdirs
the mc get slower and slower, it takes 2-5 second to move the cursor
from left to right with tab.

Please help if you can i have asked this question on #linux but no one
knows this problem.
