It may be a bug in mc, it may be a bug in Automake used to generate
makefiles, it may be a bug in your make program that Automake could not
work around.  Frankly, I don't care.  There are more important things than
analyzing old software and deciding which software is to blame.

Sometimes you can use "make uninstall".  It should work with GNU Midnight
Commander and other software using Automake-generated makefiles.
