Nasty MC bugs still not fixed

SPARC Ultra 10, Sun OS 5.7
mc 4.5.55

-- gcc version 2.8.1 (32-bit)
./configure --with-included-gettext

Copying 8 1G files:
"File" -- both bar and counter work fine,
"Bytes" -- both bar and counter work as if total files size were 2G 
(i.e., when second file was copied, they reach 100% and stay with this 
walue)

-- cc: Sun WorkShop 6 C 5.3 (64-bit)
CC="cc -xarch=v9 -xcode=pic32" \
./configure --with-included-gettext --enable-largefile

Copying 8 1G files:
"File" -- both bar and counter work fine,
"Bytes" -- both bar and counter show 100% all the time

-- cc: Sun WorkShop 6 C 5.3 (64-bit)
CC="cc -xarch=v9 -xcode=pic32" \
./configure --with-included-gettext

Copying 8 1G files:
"File" -- both bar and counter work fine,
"Bytes" -- both bar and counter show 100% all the time

Copying 1 8G file:
"File" -- both bar and counter reach 100% when ~345016K is copied, and 
remain 100%
