quick view and information modes

Hello mc-users,

A mc-4.5.51 user asks the comunity to be indulgent to his
ignorance for asking such a trivial question, but he has
unsuccessfully spent some time trying to solve this by
himself. 
Having typed "C-x q" or "C-x i" to display file information,
he seems to be force to use the menu bar and select a
listing mode in order to get back to the original state. Is
there some key combination that works like a toggle switch
for information and quick view modes?
