Again, you are not giving enough information.  Why are you running mcserv?  
What documentation suggests running it?

I could not find words "opening terminal" in the current source of 
Midnight Commander.  Don't waste your time with that package - use at 
least mc-4.5.55.

There is no use in reporting problems in an obsolete version with 
non-trivial changes made by the packagers.
