[mc-devel] Help testing release candidate / mc-4.8.32-rc1

Ubuntu server / kubuntu 24.04LTS recently installed with stock dist 
libraries.

No compilation errors  and seems to run fine. Just a couple of glib2 
deprecation warnings:
