File size units

Hi,

in the panels' file size column the size appears as follows:

 249893
145019K
  14609
 982253
 751138
   1308
 30738K
5026241

This is kind of hard to read IMO. I would prefer it in units with
values < 1024, e.g.

   249K
   145M
    14K
   982K
   751K
     1K
    30M
     5M

How can I achieve that?
