Hm, 2011 year is now. You should update your mc to the recent stable version 4.7.5.2. But, in general, directory comparing is broken. This is known bug: https://www.midnight-commander.org/ticket/399. If you want, you can append some info to this bugreport. But they all have the same filesize, and view or copyout produces combined patch. Is it possible to modify patchfs to combine different patches against the one file into the one entry with overall filesize? -----Original Message----- From: David Sterba [mailto:dave at jikos.cz] Sent: Wednesday, April 27, 2011 5:23 AM To: Vladislav Grishenko Subject: Re: patchfs Hi, sorry for my late reply, seems that I'm unable to find time to file a ticket at mc.org and do all the processing there to push the patch upstream, but I do not want to let you alone with the problem, so I'm sending you my work-in-progress patch, which fixes some of the problems with duplicate diff files you sent me a time ago. copy it to /usr/share/mc/extfs/patchfs and use. feel free to bug me again if it does not work as expected. david -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed...
