It's just a rather generic file processing command, e.g. as compress or
decompress a file.

Lot's of buzz, but it does not answer my question (refer to the previous
email). 

Now if I turn on my telepathy acquisition device, I might guess that you
want a VFS that will do it for you. Fair enough, go ahead and write it,
or find someone who wants to write it for you.

So far this seems to be quite an exotic requirement and no developer is
using dialup anyway.
