                 Summary: Pressing TAB then Up or Down key causes panel focus
to flip
                 Project: GNU Midnight Commander

                  Status: None
                 Privacy: Public
             Assigned to: None
             Open/Closed: Open

Details:

When panels are set to display full screen using the following settings:<br>
<br>
F9 -> Options -> Layout -> (x) vertical<br>
<br>
F9 -> Left -> Listing mode... -> User defined: Full type name | bsize | perm
| owner | group | mtime<br>
<br>
F9 -> Left -> Listing mode... -> [x] user mini status: full type name
mode<br>
<br>
F9 -> Right -> Listing mode... -> User defined: Full type name | bsize | perm
| owner | group | mtime<br>
<br>
F9 -> Right -> Listing mode... -> [x] user mini status: full type name
mode<br>
<br>
Under these conditions, pressing TAB key will bring one<br> panel or the
other to the front for full screen viewing.<br>
<br>
Bug:<br>
----<br>
When the TAB key is pressed to view the other panel, then is<br> immediately
pressed again to switch back to the original<br> panel, then immediately
pressing the Up or Down arrow key<br> causes the other panel to flip into
view. Pressing the arrow<br> key again then flips the panel displayed back to
the<br> original. This should not happen, the panel displayed should<br> not
flip to the other panel. When working with important<br> files, this flipping
action can be worrisome.<br>
