Removing rxvt.c ?

It's not unnecessary.  You cannot have "output lines" in Options->Layout
on unpatched rxvt.

That said, I've never used the "output lines" options, so I'm ambivalent
on that.  I think the best approach would be to have a terminal emulator
in mc rather than rely on the parent terminal for the subshell output.
