[bug #13549] Wrong sort order in unsorted mode.

Follow-up Comment #2, bug #13549 (project mc):

The attached patch should fix problem number 1. As for problem number two I
cannot reproduce it with latest MC so unless someone can reproduce it I'll
consider it to be fixed.

If noone objects I'll commit the patch in 2-3 days.
