Follow-up Comment #6, bug #13726 (project mc):

sorry, i skimmed it only. corrected now.
the answer i gave in one of the related threads was along the lines of "then
at least don't purge in the case of switched off panels". i think this
behaviour would be not only a quick fix, but would actually make sense.
