[bug #4429] When I press Ctrl- o and want to return by pressing Ctrl-o mc crashs with segmentation error

Follow-up Comment #4, bug #4429 (project mc):

Should mc have handled this crash in gpm gracefully, or is it unavoidable
that mc crashes in this case?
