No definite plans, sorry.

On the positive side, I have fixed compilation od Debian unstable.  It'
turns out Debian strips private symbols like _SLsys_getkey(), so mc
should use the public interface.  I'm sorry, I wrongly blamed other mc
developers for breaking mc, but it was a Debian update that broke
compilation.

I've just made another snapshot (yes, as strange as it sounds, I compile
RPMs on Debian).
