Last remaining patches

Hi,

There are a couple of subshell patches that should still get applied.

Patches are:
Deglobalize prompt_pos
Cap command size passed to subshell
"already running a command"
subshell prompt fix
copy_dir_dir cleanup

And finally the uglydir patch. Not sure if this is actually being worked
on.

With the above patches applied I think we can go for a release.
