Changes to hotlist.c look good. Extra g_free()s on return are a good
catch. Also g_strlcpy() instead of strncpy() seems the better solution.

filegui.c not commited as per request of Jindrich, which is good as it
touches a const char*.

Jindrich, what about the fixes to util.c? Do they satisfy you? What
about the
-        if (dir)
-           *dir = PATH_SEP;
that Pavel reintroduces?
