Bug#228934: #utar archive content viewer missing files

If I fetch http://www.sable.mcgill.ca/software/jasmin-sable-1.2.tar.gz
and view its content with mc #utar viewer - it will not show any files
in the main directory of the archive (only directories).

Unpacking the archive by hand it shows that these files *are* there:
./INSTALL
./README
./changes
./license.html
./.jasmin.prcs_aux
but they were missing from mc #utar view.

This rather annoying :-/ as one cannot be sure if what he sees with
#utar is actually all what's in the archive. Looks similarly to
#205073 but that previous bug was about #unzip.
