btw, something is highly b0rked in this area; my type-ahead is cleared
always, even if i'm in the subshell view. this sucks major ass, to say
the least ... :}
actually i don't remember ever having problems with keys going to the
panel instead of the shell before, so i guess it was just a matter of
getting used to doing it right.
