MC + zsh: prompt problem

Hello,

I want to know your opinion on the following matter:

Take a look at problem 2 - this is reproducable in both Cygwin and Linux
console.

To summerize how to reproduce:
MC + subshell running
subshell must be zsh
PS1 must be set to: PS1='%n at %m%{'$'\e[1;36m%}%#%{'$'\e[m%} '
RPROMPT must be set to: RPROMPT='%{'$'\e[1;34m%}%~%{'$'\e[m%} %h:%i'

Are you aware of this problem ? Do you consider it worth fixing ?
