After some problems with compilation I realy have mc-4.6.0-pre2 version.
FTP is beter, now it dosn't product nonsensical listings, but when I log
in my account, MC start FTP sesion in root directory which can produce an
error because of permissions. In addition it isn't quite comfortable.
Is it possible start in directory obtained by first PWD?
Here is FTP log:

I'm very sorry, but now I find that I run version 4.6.0-pre1 not pre2.
I will try pre2 version and write you.

Public FTP usualy tell you "/" is curent directory when you log in and
type PWD. So when you type LIST /pub it's the same as LIST pub.
But when I open my account by FTP I start in /home/brezina or something
similar.
Mabye you (are you last author?) want to use absolute paths but forgot add
start directory at the begining of path.
Have a nice day.
