no i didn't said that i only replied to your last comment. well it's not
of a big deal at all since i can change it here manually. more important
was to get basic glib 2.0 support into mc :)

strange ? because automake 1.5 cries out at exactly these 2 things. by
only using automake 1.6 it ignores the problem. can someone else please
confirm this ?

doesn't change the fact that automake is called and copies it's missing
files into auxdir before it checks for the automake options :) and once
this is done the pure evil begins specially if you use an older automake
version.
