Works for me.  Even "make distcheck" works.

Thanks!  I'm removing it.  The current CVS should work with gettext 
0.10.38 - 0.10.40 and 0.11.5 (and above).

.  From now on, the snapshots will be generated using gettext 0.11.5 and 
autoconf 2.54.

As for glib-2.0, I'll have a look one more time.  If it's still so hard to
compile on OSes other than Linux, I don't think mc will use it any time
soon.
