Yes, it's oriented around the individual keys rather
than the functions associated with them, and it's not
necessarily obvious that you can re-assign the functions
this way.  I messed with it once, and didn't figure it
could help me tweak keystroke combos like that.
Maybe that's a dialog that needs a bunch of work.

Yes, it's true.  I had no idea.  That's great though.
Y'see how important your experience is?  It was the
directory thing that was bothering me, and there is
already a (little known) feature that does what I want.
I thought there must be some reason someone hadn't
already done this. What about a small patch to add that
info to the select/unselect dialogs:
"Append '/' for directories".  (patch attached :)
As you say, there's many users who don't know that.

Heh heh. I like to check in here first to see if
its worth the time and effort, or I'm just missing
something (usually the case:).
