Thanks.  If applied the patch for check_error_pipe().  Now I'd like to see 
a comment for the rest of the patch.

By the way, I've changed the editor to use this code when executing
external formatter and spellchecker.  Now I can finally put that damned
entry for "tidy".  It wasn't nearly as simple as adding three lines to a
text file.

Answering your other e-mail, you can try to get rid on mc_doublepopen() if 
you want. but make sure to explain why it's good and how you tested the 
patch.
