yeah actually thats what i was trying to ask for, before i got some unpleasant
answers. supporting glib 2.0 is what i meant. there is no need to get rid of
the old glib 1.2 support. i know you removed gnome support in mc a while ago
but somehow mc followed my steps for many years now together with glib/gtk
gimp/gnome and somehow it would be cool to see it supporting glib 2.0
specially for those people that want to move completely to glib2.0/gtk2.0 and
want to drop glib1.2/gtk1.2 support. of course embedding the glib library into
mc is an alternative but not a good one imo, since why embedding another
version of the same library into a package while a newer version of the
library is already on the system and can be used.
