--with-samba problems

Last time, when I looked into samba, that was the problem - there were no
shared library for samba. Also, it was(AFAIK) a problem with all the expor-
ted functions, which poluted namespace.

If it exists - it'll be nice to use it, probably, by fixing our code and
separatr samba from distribution.

As a matter of fact, it'll be nice at least just separate samba code into a 
different distribution file and keep it separately from MC - not everyone
needs to read SMB shares, and downloading 4M of code every time not so amasing
on a 14.4K..

Which project do you mean, exactly? MC or Samba?
