Fixed. po/Makefile.in.in has been updated to gettext-0.10.38.

"make distcheck" still passes. Unfortunately, there are some unpleasant
messages at the end of "make distcheck"

As far as I can see, they are not critical. Automake 1.4a and above makes
the source directory read-only during "make distcheck", but gettext tries
to update */po files. The update-po rule in po/Makefile doesn't exit with
a non-zero status if msgmerge fails. It actually just prints a warning,
but forgets the word "WARNING", so it _looks_ like that it's ignoring
errors that should be fatal.

I don't see any way to suppress those messages, but they don't indicate
any real problem. Maybe the next version of gettext will handle it better.

The updated snapshot has been uploaded.
